Another Batch Is In The Works
Kevin has started brewing (no that would be beer) fermenting? I'm not sure the correct term, but anyway there is some stinky fermenting peaches in my kitchen (the Dirty Kitchen). In a couple of days he'll rack it (that means transfer it to another container and leaving behind the yucky stuff) into a bottle to sit for about 9 months or more. I can't believe all of our first batch of Dishwater Peach is gone! Everyone liked it, so we hope batch #2 is as tasty ;)

Dishwater Peach
The first batch of wine has come out of the Dirty Kitchen. The variety is peach, but it doesn't taste like peach. Am I not making sense? Well let me explain. The wine is made from peaches, just peaches. However, through the fermenting process the yeast has devoured all the sugars and the delicate peach flavor has faded away leaving a clean, crisp, dry wine very similar in flavor to a Sauvignon Blanc.
